Job Description

We’re seeking a Processing Administrator to join our Processing Team on a permanent basis at our Isle of Man office.

Job Purpose

The Processing Administrator is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative banking tasks, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of client transactions and instructions. The role plays a key part in delivering a high-quality service to clients by maintaining efficiency, precision, and adherence to internal procedures and service standards.

​Responsibilities & Duties

  • All types of data input, validation, verification, authorisation either system wise or on paper for all applications.
  • Debit entries, credit entries, renewals, term changes, rate changes along with client modifications.
  • Managing Direct Debits
  • Managing debit clearing
  • Processing of GBP and currency deposits
  • Monitoring and issuing client cheque books.
  • Stop cheque request management.
  • VISA processing, payments and shadow balance
  • Diary Entries
  • Creation of Day files, General Filing & Scanning
  • Generating and dispatching client correspondence i.e., statements; advice notes; min balance letters etc.

Requirements

Experience

  • Have experience in using standard Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Have experience of working within a busy administration team in a banking environment, preferably within the private client wealth management industry.
  • Embrace the Nedbank Private Wealth (NPW) culture and display appropriate values and attributes.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a positive client experience.
  • Work to tight deadlines, therefore an organised approach is essential
  • Apply sound business judgment to identify and escalate any unusual or suspicious activities to the MLRO as required.
  • Demonstrate an organised approach to the job ensuring that processing tasks are completed accurately and prioritised around cut off times following bank procedures.
  • Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and flexibility in order to cope with the ever-changing demands of the job.
  • Work efficiently within a team and co-operate with other team members.
  • Demonstrate an ability to collaborate and work with Relationship Managers and other departments such as client services, operations, risk and compliance to resolve problems effectively.
  • Ensure that queries received from clients are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner keeping in regular communication with clients/relationship managers and updating them with regard to latest developments and progress towards the resolution of queries.
  • Keep up to date with procedure changes.
  • Make capable and effective decisions to ensure that a quality service is given at all times, escalate problems within agreed timescales, whilst also adhering to the Bank’s audit requirements.
  • Take responsibility for own continuous personal development, in line with agreed annual performance and objectives.
