Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, high‑performing Sales Executive to join our growing team. This role is responsible for driving new business growth, building strong relationships with customers and partners, and representing Synapse 360 with credibility in the UK market. You will work collaboratively with our partners (including Dell and Microsoft), our commercial stakeholders, and delivery team to ensure customers receive exceptional value throughout their journey.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Sell Synapse360’s product and services portfolio including IT managed services, cloud, data, infrastructure, and security solutions
  • Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify new business sales opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Work closely with Dell and Microsoft sales and alliance teams to identify, qualify, and progress joint opportunities
  • Collaborate with pre‑sales, solution specialists, and delivery teams to shape compelling customer proposals, and successful delivery
  • Run structured discovery conversations to understand customer challenges and position end‑to‑end IT solutions
  • Build trusted, long‑term relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels
  • Accurately manage opportunities, pipeline, and forecasts using Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Maintain strong market awareness and represent Synapse360 professionally in customer meetings and events
  • Complete and maintain account plans, action plans, monthly and quarterly forecasts
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through to close
  • Consistently meet or exceed agreed sales and revenue targets

Requirements

  • Strong desire to win new business while delivering excellent customer outcomes
  • Highly driven, target‑oriented, and accountable for results
  • Self‑motivated with excellent time management and territory planning skills
  • Comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating with internal technical and partner teams
  • Ambitious, professional, and keen to stand out through performance and contribution

Experience

The successful candidate will bring a strong background in B2B IT solutions sales, ideally within an MSP, reseller, systems integrator, or technology services organisation, and will be motivated to grow their career in a high‑performance, consultative sales environment.

  • Proven track record of success in field‑based IT sales, including new logo acquisition and pipeline creation
  • Experience selling managed services and cloud‑led solutions, such as IaaS, DRaaS, backup, monitoring, support, or security services
  • Strong ability to run customer discovery conversations, actively listen, and clearly capture customer requirements
  • Demonstrated experience positioning outcome‑based solutions rather than point products
  • Confident communicator with strong face‑to‑face, written, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing opportunities, pipeline, and forecasts using Salesforce (SFDC) or similar CRM tools
  • Background working with or alongside Microsoft and/or Dell in a partner‑led sales environment is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Exposure to selling cloud, data, infrastructure, or security solutions into mid‑market or enterprise customers
